Honestly I just don't know much about Butler's team so any analysis or talk would be uninformed- they only played one tune up game against N Colorado and they smoked them 89-52.
Looks like Kelan Martin, a 6'7" forward, is their best player. Savage is still out tonight. And aside from that, like usual, have a couple short quick guards who are probably fairly talented, and a few other SF / wing guys who can move the ball, shoot, and will cycle in and out. They graduated Rosy Jones and Dunham, key contributors from last year. They don't appear to have anyone particularly intimidating inside- just one young 6'10" guy. That said, they are always well coached, well rounded, and play good team D and move the ball on offense, and have a good home court. Sanjay and Vic will prob get the matchup on Martin, and then Pardon and to a lesser extent Skelly may get the chance to do some damage down low.
I don't see anything scary about them, they are just a solid fundamental team. I saw the spread at 8 pts, which seems about right. Should be fun to see what we got tonight.
