Why so much negativity?

We have not "sucked forever". I take personal offense at that lie. Coach Claiborne would have set you straight. "All is not well" with UK fans either. That's another insulting lie. You say we should kick dogshit out of Vandy every year. Vandy's fans think the Commodores should kick dogshit out of Kentucky every year. But that's just noise. The only thing that matters is the direction and arch of the program. Our football program is presently at a crossroad. We have sat at roughly the same performance level in 2014, 15, 16. With 19 incumbent starters and both kickers coming back in 2017, next year "should" be Stoops' time to break out. If he can do it, he will stay. If he can't do it, then he is a goner. I think it has become that simple. If that isn't good enough for you, it's your business. But at least stop posting lies.
Wait a second. We haven't sucked forever? I mean. What is our program's overall record? When you barely make bowl games and very rarely have good teams at a program, in the entirety of its history. Then that means we've sucked forever. That is not a lie. You sir are just in denial if you don't think UK football has always sucked. Yes I understand we have a good team every 15-20 years. That's why the good teams are considered the outlier, because we usually suck.

I don't know, kind of seems like a trolling post. I just can't know...
It truely isn't. It's an honest question just because I think that the poster I replied to made some good points. I see many on here unhappy and I think it's absolutely justified. But many of the same people complaining and wanting Stoops gone are the same that claim these unattainable records at the beginning of the year. I just find it interesting that there is this notion that 4 or 5 wins saves Stoops's job but many feel that it's only going to get him to next year where he is ultimately going to get fired. What I am saying or asking (because I've seen it enough) is will those same people then turn around and claim 9-3 with a butt kicking of UofL going to happen again? I am just curious as to what others think.

I don't know what they'll predict.

I think Stoops is probably back at this point.

I prefer to hope that UK improves next year and Stoops does a great job if he's still the coach.

I think we will eventually be better than UL again. Next year? Doesn't seem likely, but maybe your coach leaves. Maybe your basketball recruiting woes bleed into football.

Maybe you should just enjoy it. Not sure why a fan of such a lofty, CFP bound team feels the need to slum it with us.

One more time, UK football won/lost percentage 68% thru 1954, since 1954 thru 2015 42%. So yes overall crap, but initially we had a good foot ball program from beginning thru Bryant! Went to sh"t when basketball supporters won out and Bryant left! Have to know more than current history,to give proper context and perspective to the overall status of U.K. Football!

Sadly, they will be. One poster Saturday was claiming Kentucky would win 8 games next year. And another was basically gloating to the Stoops haters we've one 2 SEC games. It's pretty amazing the summer fans that turn like wind. Beating UL is out of mind till at least Teddy Bridgewater 2.0 is gone Biggest complaint I've had with Stoops is all these great classes he gets and we're still slightly better than Vandy and USCjr.

And Southern Miss was a loss because of UK dropped INT, what's your point
The point was Vandy lost their league leading rushing RB and dropped 4 interceptions, we were very lucky to win.
this game. The S Miss loss was by 9 it was more than just a UK dropped int.
