Pretty sure Cenzo was a volunteer assistant at Stanford and the RTC coach at UNC. Joining the staff of a University like Lehigh surely pays better and provides excellent benefits. To me, he’s just climbing the ladder.
Cenzo's coaching career really started with Rob Koll. I think Koll sees a lot of himself in a young Cenzo. I know Koll isn't everyones cup of tea but no denying he's one of the best fundraisers in the sport.
He took a brief hiatus to focus on wrestling but after he retired, he went to UNC with him.
I think an opportunity to learn from Santoro and be closer to home was too much to pass up.

Cenzo looks like he's on a path to get his own program someday. He's not yet 30 and has trained and/or coached under several legends -- Cael, Koll, Zeke Jones, and now Santoro.
He was practicing with Kyle Snyder at the NLWC practice the day before the golf outing. He’s definitely looking bigger and stronger, although he’s still giving up 15-20 pounds to Snyder.
