This was a joke on the former site about how many PSU wrestlers dated or married girls named Maddie.
Maddie = good
Syd = not so much
IMHO the chances of Arnold cutting to 174 and beating out Kennedy are ZERO.
Agreed, and yet it might be his best option. He's not beating Ferrari at 184. Nobody really knows what Endene will be in D1, but Arnold is too short (both height and reach) to be an effective 197, and he won't be able to outmuscle 197s. And if Kennedy gets hurt, Arnold is the only viable NQ-level backup option.
Next year is the real question for him. Barring more imports, he'll be the only 174 option.
OK, leaving Iowa might be his actual best option, but he doesn't seem to be considering that.
