One of my rules over here is very rigid: NO POLITICS. I don't care if it's a tweet, an article, a whatever, from a PSU wrestler, PSU coach, former PSU wrestler, etc. The source of the tweet is immaterial to me. NO POLITICS. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever on this board.

I don't compromise on that rule.

I did allow posts during Session VI of the recent NCAAs that included pictures of wrestlers with the POTUS (as he was in attendance), but removed any comments that spoke in favor or against the POTUS. That was about as flexible as I've been on the NO POLITICS rule, and that was because 1) it was part of Session VI, 2) there were pictures of the POTUS with PSU wrestlers as part of their post-match celebration, and 3) the pictures were not political (though they did generate political replies, which as mentioned above, I did remove)

I remove all such posts that violate the NO POLITICS rule. As some folks are in the process of migrating to this board, and may be unaware of the aforementioned rule, I'll leave the post to which I'm responding up, so that my response makes sense. However, please do not respond to, or comment on, the post to which I'm responding.

I don't compromise on that rule...UNLESS...you want to refer to me as your majesty, my lord or King of the wrestling board. That's all the flexibility I can extend

I view Nolf’s tweet as a humorous harmless joke about something in the news without any political intent at all. Hopefully those can remain although I know it will likely incite some to post political comments which I agree should be removed

But if @TomMcAndrews doesn’t want to go…even an inch…down that slope, then one will have to follow Jason and whoever else, or peruse elsewhere, to see it.

Forgive me if this has been covered already, but apparently this is from Beau Bartlett

I see @StickEm's point. But there are two reasons I will always delete such tweets: 1) it is focused on a political situation, and 2) tweets/posts like this pretty much always attract political responses.

It works best for the overall health of the board if political posts, posts that reference political situations, etc. are not made, or they are removed by a moderator if they are made. I have no doubt that PSU wrestlers, PSU coaches, former PSU wrestlers, PSU fans, members of the board community etc. have political views, or may comment on political situations publicly or privately. That's fine, and to be expected. I just don't care what their views are, and don't want representations of such, comments of such, etc. (whatever that is) on the board. It creates too many problems for the board, and for the moderators. So, I have a blanket rule about such posts, and stick very firmly to it, as mentioned above in my post on the subject.

I guess Bartlett new bride referred to Carter's loss to Dake as the bad guy lost
I don’t think that is exactly what she said from what I read elsewhere. Apparently, she said (paraphrasing) It’s always nice when a good guy wins. People took that to be a negative against Carter.

I looked at some of her older posts. She seems a little unhinged.
Shes doing what a wife should and defending Beau and that's what he's doing for her.. But they are not quite on the mark with how they are doing it.
It sucks, Beau has given his 100% to this program and to head out the door like this isn't goof for anyone.
