Won’t even answer questions for players who had their athletic careers stolen?
Changed locks after wrestling got back from winning the title?

I get why he had to cut the programs, but he seems like a snake in his operating procedure.

Are we trusting him to right the ship because he played in the 90s? Seems like he have been down that road before.

1. your article said it had to because women needed more money for sports, and you couldn't cut hockey
2. both possibly could take a player from NU

We all know the story he had to do it so UNO could play basketball in the Summit conference and be division I and qualify for the NCAA tournament…

Wrestling wasn’t going to be a money maker and had no one to wrestle in the Summit conference..

I said I got why he did it.

but to not address the players? To change the locks overnight. Be a man about it. He just seems like he is a snake the way he handled it.

Given the chance to do it all over again I’m sure he would have handled the situation differently…

I read the article, I didn't see anything that would lead me to the conclusion that he is a snake. Why wouldn't they change the locks? Or, they should've left university property unsecured and open to a bunch of angry students? Yeah, that would've ended well. Why aren't you pissed at the regents who voted unanimously to end the football program?

I get the players being mad, it was personal for them. I get them still being mad about it now. It doesn't register for me at all whether I trust Trev or not. I like the fact that he's willing to do what's necessary and not worry about a bunch of hurt feelings. I think Trev answered all the questions, you and others just don't like the answers. There's literally nothing he could ever say, either then or now, that would satisfy those players or those connected to them.

Who f'ing cares. That was 10 years ago. His first year on the job. I'm sure he would go back and do things different. This carries no weight in this arguement.

Ha...here come the crybaby UNO football fans...the fans that were in Lincoln every Saturday for the Husker games.

And none of you were going to UNO wrestling...so just stop it.

1 NCAA bid to March Madness is a bigger deal than UNO football winning a title. It just is.

Trev is indeed a snake. And, that's part of what is needed in the AD job. Some will call him smooth, or slick, but it's the ability to look people in the eye and spin, or lie straight to people's faces and make them believe you.

The reality is, in many things in life need to be glossed over or presented in such a way for others to go along with them.

True brutal honesty just doesn't get people very far. And so yes, he has those skills, along with many others in leadership positions.

That doesn't make him a bad person.

Remember the good old days when basically nobody talked about UNO wrestling? Now we're supposed to all care deeply about it. Should it's ending have been handled better? Absolutely. Does it matter at all currently? No.

Just like how we discuss Frank’s ending, Bos ending, Callahan. Doesn’t matter. But it’s discussed all the time

Since I can’t in any way affect the outcome, I am perpetually left to hoping our teams win, and trusting that those in charge can make it happen. My hope and trust in Frost has been used up. That leaves all my hope and trust in Trev to do what is necessary. He is worthy of my benefit of the doubt, until he isn’t.

Maybe the shoes are too big to fill for Trev? I mean he said the same thing publicly about the Michigan officials. I thought it was brought in to clean that up from Moos? But now publicly calling out officials and not expecting them to hold that against us? Look what Kevin Warren did last year.

That article is pure gold! 10,000-12,000 fans at a home game!

What is next, that the UNO wrestling team had to turn fans away because it was so packed?

I can say with 100% certainty that no one I know ever went to a UNO football game, not once.

I can also say that as a former HS wrestling coach, I don't know anyone that ever went to UNO wrestlings events.
