Why would Marrow?

He probably didn't. It is starting to sound more and more like this Clark kid initiated the contact on Twitter himself. If so, that would be a whole different ballgame. Hopefully this kid turns out to be over-eager drama queen and Marrow stays right here in Lexington.
The kid basically says nothing. Marrow just talked about how he could help develop him for the next level. Sounds to me like Marrow is pitching himself generally. That could mean that Marrow wants Clark to look at him no matter where he goes. Sounds like Clark only assumes that Michigan is the school because Marrow talked to him about how he could help him and because Clark has no interest in Kentucky.
It very well could have been Clark asking him questions about his background and how he could help him, and then Marrow answered and because Marrow didn't try to convince him to go to UK he assumed that he was going to head to Michigan.
Both sides are spinning this story, but I don't see much of a reason to get worked up over it either way.
