You may get a lot of answers and the serious ones are probably somewhat true on what a person is taught in their church.
I was taught the Good refers to all the good JC brought and will forever bring as he was flogged and made to carry the cross to his crucifixion and that is to be celebrated rather than dwell on his death.

Again, not an expert but it is "on the third day" so the three days include Friday.
