Honestly, the likelihood Howard plays more automatically makes it better. Eskildsen helps too...reliable kid. Wouldn't be shocked if they added another WR.

This is all I want...
Out of 12 wr's on the roster I want just 1 speedy sure handed wr who can create separation on any route and 1 taller wr with great hands who can make contested catches downfield and in the end zone. We haven't seen either type of receiver here for a long time. I'd even settle for a combination of the two if he ends up with 1,000+ yards.

The only way it would be worse, would be if they are all blind.
😂😂😂

The only thing that nags in the back of my mind is how Harrison Wallace and Keandre Lambert-Smith performed at Ole Miss and Auburn after leaving. So it’s hard to tell how talented the room really was, being that the passing game appears to have been entirely misused the past couple years. It’s making the current and past room hard to judge.

I'm looking forward to the re-boot. ESPECIALLY, in the passing game.

Check out the Texans/Patriots game today and you may see 3 Iowa State wideouts playing for Houston today. Higgins, Hutchinson and Noel.

You certainly have to hope the coach in that room will create a noticeable difference.
Indeed.

I think there is a lot of evidence that PSU's "WR problems" were less due to the WR talent available - and more so the coaching at various spots, and the (for whatever reasons) tendency of the recent QB to vapor-lock wrt throwing the ball downfield.

How much that may improve? Who knows. But I think it is reasonable to hope that improvement may be realized regardless of the raw WR talent available.
