I noticed Pope spent extra time talking to him in the handshake line. He seems like a really good kid
Interesting. And crazy that it is zero stretch that it could happen.
Get Wilson , snag Hubbard then add one of tbe best bigs in portal .......
He's too streaky for me to get really excited about. And when he has a cold stretch, he doesn't grow a conscience.
Hard pass. Hubbard is not the type of player that would fit in Pope's system.
He is a ball dominant point guard that takes way too many contested and ill-advised three point shots. Some times he will go off (like he did against UK in 2024 where he made 4 three pointers in the last minute).
But more often then not, he will do what he did last night, where he led Miss St in FG attempts, yet shot very poorly, including 3/11 from deep.
Some may say Pope will get him to play within the system, but I highly doubt players like Hubbard can just change who they are.
