I have a high view of this program. It deserves and should expect alot of wins. The program is incredibly attractive.
1. Big ten
2. Great school.
3. Best practice facility.

2 out of 3 years we are most terrible and embarrassing. Fitz gets a big fat F UNLESS you fail to see the growth of this program and the unrealized potential after millions and more millions were dumped to make this competitive recruiting.

Hank is gone and the data is clear, Fitz cant nor will ever stand on his own 2 ft.

Turk,

You are sounding repetitive. Go out and get some fresh air. Maybe a spa day too. Rhythmic breathing can clear the mind. The holidays can be stressful, so take care of your mind AND body.

Turk,

The data doesn’t lie. But does it tell the truth? There is no truth any more in this age of hyper information. Sometimes I think ignorance is truly bliss.

I don't think most are ok with it. I think very few are ok with it. I don't think Fitz is ok with it.

I'm often reminded of the movie, Apollo 13, where they are desperate for a re-entry plan and finally Jim Lovell/Tom Hanks INSISTS that they get the re-entry plan right now. The head of NASA gets on the phone and says something like 'Jim, we're gonna get you that plan real quick' (sic - he's Southern), and Lovell realizes out loud: "they don't know". Meaning - they have no idea how to get them back to Earth.

Fitz and his, ahem, team of experts are working feverishly, but they just don't know how to get us back to Earth without bouncing off the atmosphere or bursting into flames. To be fair, none of us do either, we are simply watching the movie. But - we do know some things, like a) fire/bench under-performers, b) stop doing what isn't working c) own up to the problem, publicly, to some extent, so people don't think you are stupid or an arrogant jerk.

Thing is, there’s no problem. 3-9 is a perfectly normal step to a championship.

Even Ohio State gets outscored by 20 points a game versus P5 competition some years.

(It was 336-140, 33.6-14.0. I did the addition myself.)

This program is about championships. And I presume Jim O’Neil is the guy to get us there. He’s a good dude to get a beer with.

Fire Bajakian because he isn't Irish. Getting Fitz and O'Neil a fellow countryman is what will right this ship.

I think the one thing he has to do is adapt to the new $$ rules. This site deletes alot of post related to it but on other forums there is more freedom to talk about how Fitz has made this program all about him and he hasnt cultivated a support system to land endorsements. We are 1 of only a few schools with no program support and zero players benefitting financially. Even a team endorsement like some teams to share w players. Imo this has crushed our recruiting.

We should be able to recruit some great Irish talent given the upcoming Dublin trip (sponsored by Aer Lingus).

Given Ireland's love of soccer, having to suffer through Kuhbander's poor final season looks even worse. If we don't have a kicker by Dublin, leave Fitz and Genyk there.

Perhaps he is making it up, but I have not seen any significant NIL stuff for our guys, whereas it seems like a lot of schools have gone all-in, and not just the behemoths.
We have zero kids with a nil deal according to ned. Ned would know. This is very significant for decent recruits. Some teams do their kids great and have team deals. Pats ego wont allow him to setup a program like other schools to support the players.
Again, this is crucial. But zero players at NU.
Colter was right about Fitz.

Your problem is that Google exists.

deserves it. He probably wasn't as good as we thought last year (a few bounced right in his arms) but he surely is better than he will get credit for this year. He is a really good player, and I hope he stays. And, if he does, for God's sake, let him return kicks and punts. I know it was against OU or ISU, but he knows what to do with the ball in his hands.
