It's damn close if he's not but what hurt him was not getting to start the first two games if that factors into that. JMO but nothing like loyalty vs open competition :cheers2:

Highest graded freshman RB in the nation per PFF, and then these stats as well. He'll be freshman All-American, possibly All-SEC as well.

He better. Benny Snell is the best freshman running back in the country. I wouldn't trade him for Jalen Hurts of Alabama. No way no how. Alabama doesn't have one damn player I would trade Benny Snell for and that's a fact. FACT. All American

Hurts won't be his competition at RB.

Should be, but will he get noticed? Wouldn't be the first time a Kentucky player got overlooked because he played at Kentucky. For example Woodyard rarely got national attention for leading the SEC in tackles for two seasons.

It's important to get the recognition this year in particular so Stoops can use it in his recruiting pitch.

He definitely deserves it. I'm just happy he chose to be a Wildcat!! I wouldn't trade him for any other Frosh RB in the country!!

I don't see how anyone could vote differently. Just look what he did in only 10 games, while sharing the load. He should win SEC freshman offensive player of the year as well.

Loved seeing Snell catch that little swing pass on the blitz against UL and pick up 29. CJ, Dorian, and Timmons gave him amazing seal blocks for the run after that catch. Fans love that pass and run!

All things considered he should. The fact that he plays for UK doesn't help his case. For him to have the stats that he does not only sitting out the first 2 games but sharing touches with Boom and occasionally Kemp. But the most impressive star to me is in games without Snell we are 0-2 and games with Snell we are 7-3. That has a lot to do with the change of QBs also. But anyone that watched every game can tell you it was a completely better offense when Snell started playing.
