Bolt has a pretty good pedigree as He played for and learned a ton from DVH and coached under Anderson, Childress and Erstad while he was also coached at a very good Juco school as well.
My thoughts on DE's departure was he left on his own terms as he wrote his own ticket here and could've stayed as long as he wanted, but he felt it was time to hang it up as he had a stellar 14 year career in the majors and was the number 1 overall draft pick in the 95 draft then only a couple of years away from the Big League he came on as a volunteer coach under Anderson and then after the following year he became HC and Anderson knew he was his replacement as he was pretty much told that early in his last season here. DE imo had a huge hand in Bolt coming back here as they talked throughout the course of last season.
Those lineup cards don’t fill out themselves.I love it...
Like, I am sure last year DE was like "Hit the ball hard and get on base" but for some reason it didn't work...But when Bolt says it...it works.
There is not a sport in the world where coaching/managing matters less.
Someone has to be the adult wearing a uniform. HaThose lineup cards don’t fill out themselves.
Track, golf, tennis, bowling. I just named 4 in 10 seconds and there's more.I love it...

Yep, it's one game. I'm excited for sure, but we're not going to score 19 every game. We DID give up 9 as well, which hey, we won, but most days giving up 9 won't result in a win. In any event, we're undefeated!Good start but we'll have to see how the season goes.

I'm not pleased with you, Coach.
Hey...someone has to fill out the line up card, chew seeds and occasionally walk out to the mound.Anyone that thinks baseball teams do not need coaches are just plain ignorant about the game of baseball!
