Does anyone think Ferrell is funny? I don’t, not at all. I think his attempts at humor are annoying. I don’t get it but it seems I’m in the vast minority.

He’s hilarious. Maybe just not your taste….

I’m with you. I don’t really find him funny. I know sometimes you have to be in the right mood to watch his slapstick type stuff but I generally find him more irritating than funny.

Hit or miss for me... he was great in Old School, Archorman and Rickt Bobby... and Elf had its charming moments. But 75% of his movies are meh. He's kind of like Monty Python. A small portion is great but most of it sucks
I can agree with this. But I would drop Ricky Bobby. I think that movies sucked as well.

I think he is too over the top and too much of a "Johnny one note", where most of his characters are interchanbeable in the vast number of movies he does. I will give him credit for doing a one man stage show on George W. Bush - in that, he was really good.

Plus, he is a big USC fan - so that is two strikes against him.

Some good some bad. Step Brothers, Old School, Elf, and Talledega Nights were all pretty funny IMO. Euro Vision and a couple others on the other hand didn't land.

I don't think Ferrell is funny and most of his stuff is overly done. However, I disagree with you on Monty Python, it is mostly great and on a way higher level then any comedy today. Granted Monty Python was made in a different time for a different generation kids today just don't understand which is why I think a lot of people think Ferrell is funny. I guess I am old, I thoroughly enjoy Monty Python, Benny Hill, Young Ones, etc along with the old school Mel Brooks movies like History of the World Part 1, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstien, etc.

He’s phenomenal. I always love how he could take an actual person and make him a complete mockery of the person himself. Him as Harry Caray or Robert Goulet, is hilarious. His SNL skit as Neil Diamond doing VH1 Storytellers is one of the my favorite skits ever.

I think Will Ferrell is best as a supporting actor such as in Austin Powers and Zoolander

As a leading man in comedies, too often his act is unintentionally cringey

There is probably no comedy more divisive than Monty Python.....I think their stuff is terrible and unwatchable but plenty of people love it

Killer cast here…Cameron Diaz always great on SNL.

Ferrell is best when he's "contained" by a script and a director within a movie.

Talladega Nights, Anchorman, Stepbrothers, The Other Guys (often overlooked) and Elf are some of the funniest comedies ever made. Old School was pretty good, too.
When he's doing skits, or play-acting in personal appearances and the such, he's often trying too hard, and trying to replace wit with yelling and goofy voices.

Even with a script and a director they generally let him play and he adlibs quite a bit.

He’s loud and over the top. He acts like Curley but unfunny. Stupid crap.

Even when he appeared on the MAX SMARTLESS podcast tour he came on stage, sat down, and said not one funny thing. What’s worse is he had prepared notes and wore some dumbass tux.

Curley was funny. The other guy isn’t. They both play to about the same age group.
LOL, you can believe whatever you want to. The fact you think your opinion matters on a subjective topic shows a lack of self awareness. It is just you.

I actually liked him in probable his only non-comedy role - “Everything must go”. Played a recovering alcoholic - mot for everyone but I found it entertaining.

have you seen Stranger than Fiction? also non comedy and a pretty good movie, a lot of people who don't care for him like it
