I am talking about a successful former HC. You are talking about golden showers and chapstick. Wrong board buddy.
Despite what some may think, RichRod is a much better HC than Dana will ever be. The man wouldn't have offers from Alabama, Michigan, Arizona, USC (Carolina), and WVU if he wasn't. He is very highly thought of by most football people as an innovator. I'm not saying we should make a run at him, but I will say he is on another level compared to Dana. Sorry but that's the opinion of most people that follow this game and have coached this game. If you took an honest objective poll at any program whether they would have Dana or Rich as their HC, I would almost guarantee and landslide victory for RichPlease, can we end this drivel over RR? God, the man crush some of you have for this guy is down right latent homosexuality.
He has turned down the SC job, a good SEC opportunity, and won't be back at WVU ever. He will be at AZ until he wears out his welcome and will go back to TV until the App State job opens again in 2025.
Trust me we have a much better chance winning the BIG 12 with Rich than with Dana.....1 simple reason......QB DEVELOPMENTSuccessful where? Only at WVU in a bad Big East conference has he been successful. Failure at Michigan and about the same as the guy we have now at Az. Big time competition and he folds like a cheap lawn chair.
If you want more of the same at WVU in the B12, by all means get him in here so we can go 6-6 or 7-5 again for another 4 to 5 seasons.
Personally I want WVU to be in competition for championships, not chumpionships.

I didn't say he wasn't better than Dana, but I think in the B12 it wouldn't be much of an upgrade and his record outside of WVU in a different conference and level of competition proves it.
