Could Penn State’s lineup possibly look like this next year:

125 - Lilledahl

133 - Nagao or Davis (Davis has a redshirt available)

141 - Bartlett

149 - Kasak

157 - Van Ness

165 - Mesenbrink

174 - Haines

184 - Barr

197 - Starocci

285 - Kerk
Haines isn't going 174 and van Ness isn't going 157. You can just say there is an opening so we move people where they fit. Facundo at 174 unless someone steps up in the room and beats him. Kasak has shirt available. May shirt similar to Zain. Starocci may go 197 because to works for his Olympic dream.

Take Kasak out and drop Haines, MM, and SVN (hopefully he’s not injury prone) down a weight plugging in Facundo at 174 and that lineup would be more likely. It’s a lineup that could blowout the team point total and produce 5-6 champs!

I believe Kasak and Davis will RS along with the twins, Sealey, and Ryder.

Quite a fascinating interview with Carter-above. He is a very determined person and a very dedicated, goal driven athlete. He only had great things to say about PSU coaches who he described as going above and beyond to help the wrestlers as people and as athletes. Of course, it is well known, he does not "love school". But he is leaning 60/40 to returning to PSU-at a "higher weight". He said he will have a private meeting with Cael-about his health and about returning to PSU. He said a decision will need to be made within the next few weeks as PSU finalizes the 2024 to 2025 roster-but he said either way PSU should still do really well in its efforts to repeat as national champions. He describes the difficulties of cutting weight for himself and wrestlers like Levi Haines who BWI posters knows wants to move up to 165 pounds next year. This is the longest interview I have heard with Carter and if a BWI poster wants to know a bit who he is as a person and an athlete, it is a good source of information. He is a fascinating person to me. Also, sounds like MMA may be in his future at some point.

Wow- a ‘turnover year’ but that is a very compelling line-up. What about Facundo?
Da Osu will be good too. But, I think we’ll be better. As always

Van Ness is NOT going 157 in 24-25!!
Van Ness 149. Key to our team right now is getting Carter and definitely Kerk back next season. We haven’t heard much on what Kerk is thinking. Anyone hear anything during the trails ? He’s definitely the most important since we don’t have a HWT who we know can score a lot of points at the National tournament. Be great to shatter our existing point record. Love to see 7 or 8 guys in the finals. We have great momentum right now in the wrestling world.
