I'd say yes. Dana knows all of those guys will get their fare share of carries anyway. I can't see him rocking the boat and demoting a guy when that's the case. There really isn't much to be gained from it unless Shell develops an effort problem and needs motivation. And I don't see that happening. He runs hard.Who knows...... regardless, they'll be plenty of work and carries to go around. [smoke]
I'm going with Donte after 2-3 games. Shell has a lot to prove if he wants to hold on to the starting position.I'm starting to believe it's going to be Donte Thomas-Williams.
I thought Shell was pretty dang good when healthy. He was hurt for a lot of the season though. Having Marcellus as a running back definitely bolstered that position though. He reminds me of Darius Reynaud with his shiftiness and short line speed. I wonder if he has that next gear in the open field? If so he can be something special before he is done here.I'm going with Donte after 2-3 games. Shell has a lot to prove if he wants to hold on to the starting position.
Marcellus
My big question is not whether Shell will be a starter. We'll learn that answer in due time.
My question for Vernon or someone else credible is whether his first name is pronounced "Rushel" as it is spelled...or is it pronounced with a silent H, like the more common name "Russell"?
While I'm at it, how about Kwiatkowski? That looks as if it should be pronounced like "Quiet-Cow-Ski", but it seemed as if I frequently heard announcers say "Quit-a-Cow-Ski". National broadcasters are frequently unreliable on that topic, though, so I wanted to see if Vernon or someone who knows these players can confirm the correct pronunciations. Thank you!
