Will the IHSA ever go to 1-32 for 5a and 6a?

They say travel wouldn't be worth it. Guess depends on your draw. Wish someone who had the time could put up what the bracket would look like 1 thru 32.
I could be wrong, but I thought this board was a catalyst for the 7/8a change of seeding. I know several posters talked to their coaches and ADs about this. If memory serves me correct, Coach Hetlett from that great Glenbard school in Glen Ellyen (sp?) pushed for 1 - 32 seeding as well. He talking to his peers could have made a difference.
I could be wrong two and too, but didn't Edgy behind the scenes try and do some persuading?
Thats why I wanted them in 5A all the influential power players are in 5A
What if you did a partial statewide seeding? Like 1-8 statewide, then 9-32 regional? 3A, for example, has 4 9-0 all in the south bracket. But the north bracket is likely much tougher...Of course, in those stacked years where an 8-1 has a first round road game, this wouldn't help all that much...And it doesn't deal with the 6-3 3A team that played a 5A-6A schedule...
I'm hardly venerable. Disreputable would be closer to the truth. BTW, Elmwood Park emphatically says yes to "1 to 32"!

What I don't like is without 1-32 you see the same matchups every year. It's nice to see other teams and other places.
