Will the SEC coaching ranks get raided this offseason?

At this moment, my priority is getting some of the absurd talent out of the SEC. I’m fine with whoever Indiana wants to hire out of our conference. I really have trouble fearing Indiana. Even if they got Nate Oates they’d somehow screw it up and remain irrelevant

If UNC had any brains they would go all in on Oates.

Except they recently gave Hubert a 2 year contract extension.

It's really hard to say. We as fans used to know the landscape. As in, we used to be able to see things like conference strength, who can recruit well, what players are expected to stay or probably leave etc. Now, it's 90% about the money, and we as fans don't really know and understand where this money comes from or how much is actually out there. We can't calculate it like we could if there's a salary cap. We are collectively thinking in the old ways of college sports. Decisions now aren't being made that way anymore. Coaching decisions are now being made based on conversations and situations that we as fans aren't prvy to.

i think Texas makes a move if they don’t get in and they will try to make a splash. Some of the teams like Texas, SC may bring coaches in. I don’t think there will be alot of movement unless KU makes a move with self. Everything else is a lateral move. Would oats leave bama for IU? The sec is where it’s at right now. Why would any top 8 sec coaches leave for an nC st when it’s a crap conference? That’s what I ask myself and then I think of Chris beard in Oxford. My alma matter. Oxford is great especially tailgating in the grove but it’s a job to lead to another. Beard is the guy I see leaving but he might be loyal to the school for taking a chance on him. He’s most likely to leave but listen does he end up back at texas? Crazier things have happened
