My guess is we see butler before JR, not liking what I’m hearing about JR and seeing a 3rd specialist. I’m guessing butlers injury could be a pain tolerance issue and maybe hold him till close to SECT time, with JR it just doesn’t sound like he’ll be ready any time soon.
What you are hearing, or what you read on KSR, HUGE difference. Everything you posted was exactly what I read in a article on there. If you are truly not "hearing" info from someone and simply reading articles, please do not frame it like you are hearing from people around the team. Not bashing you, just be clear where you are getting info. Hearing and reading are totally different.

We are paying dearly for having a 3 yr run when Cal got here with pretty much no major injuries. Since then, and especially the last few years, we are getting more than our fair share. It's like we are cursed.

I still don't even know how all these players ended up injured

Kerr got hurt in the Gonzaga game in November and has been out since with a broken foot.

Butler hurt his ankle in the Clemson game and missed Gonzaga and Ohio State games before returning before the UL game. He was beaten all to hell in the A&M game but played through it to the point the injury negatively impacted his play at Vandy. He missed the next 3 games, played the next 2.66 games and has missed the last 1.33 games.

Robinson and Garrison collided in practice sometime prior to the South Carolina game. Robinson took a hard fall and hurt his shooting wrist. Robinson played most of the SC game going 2-8 from the floor before leaving that game holding his wrist. He hasn’t played since.

Carr has been fighting back spasms since early January and hasn’t played well in a month. His mobility is severely limited and his injury status is likely GTD every game.

Basically, January was rough and February hasn’t been any better.

There’s a quote from Pope saying they’re seeing a 3rd specialist over his wrist, I think it’s at the beginning of this topic but that’s what’s I’m going off of. But if it’s comes from the coach & being in the medical field myself, that’s why I said I was concerned.

Thanks. I was just curious to know if maybe you had info the rest of us hasn't read. Just get Butler back. To me, between him and Robinson if I had a choice to chose one player to get back, he would be it. Both are very valuable, but Butler is the straw that stirs the drink, IF healthy.
