Legitimately can't remember the last time I saw a player with such an unearned sense of confidence on offense with as little ability as he has
Amari and Garrison will be the reason UK gets sent home today unless it turns around at the half.
He got juked out of his shoes on defense! It’s a different game if he played half decent

Williams thinks because he's open he should shoot it, completely ignoring the fact WHY he's open
You can’t expect a 7’ kid to guard a 6’2 kid on the perimeter. Just a bad matchup, and what you got is what you get. You can tell him every time he tries a layup instead of a dunk, you’re making everyone run, even during a game. On the line boys

Problem is Garrison hasn’t been much better. Tough spot for Pope but id lay into Amari at halftime and roll with him
I can’t believe how lazy and disinterested he looks. Two of his rebounds hit the floor in front of him before he grabbed the ball. Inexcusable but in the stat sheet it shows as two rebounds.

Aside from low energy and infrequent self-awareness, he shoots like he is wearing a boxing glove on his shooting hand. Flat, no arc, and brick-hard. No touch at all.
He's gotta add value somewhere or we are better off with bench bigs on the floor. Maybe we could use him to lay hard fouls on a key shooter (a BB goon) before hitting the pine...IDK.
He has to wake up or we're going to be extremely limited down low.

I'm hearing he injured his back at practice Thursday. That's why he wasn't dunking it in the game Friday. You can tell he's not 100% but he needs to play through it!
When he's on the bench, he's earing what looks like the same back brace Carr was wearing during the time he was fighting thru the back issues.
Hopefully, if they can just get a win this game, the time off will do him wonders before he has to engage in the wrestling match against UT.
We need the best version of Amari to win this one and next week and hopefully beyond. The uniqueness of running the offense through him could get us to the final 4 if they can be the best version of the team we've seen this season.
Once again, some people should just not post. Before, during, or after games.
