Best of luck to him. We'll be fine without him, but I hope he gives us another look after this season.

I like Lemond but he shouldn't have tweeted this. Wills said he was not announcing tonight. Ruined his moment.

Pretty big day in the southeast, 5* DB AJ Terrell committed to Clemson, Webb to USC and now WIlls to Bama. Season started in Georgia this week I guess thats part of it because 2 of them are Georgia kids.

I think it would take like a 8 win season by UK to flip him, but it's not official till February

If you go to Next Cats, you'll see what Wills had to say after Lafayette pounded Dunbar...recruiting is still open. Not sure when he'll make a decision. KSR is full of horse apples.

What ever the young man decides to do I hope he is successful. Except when he goes against the cats

Don't care if he did ruin his moment

I know it stings if a local recruit chooses to go elsewhere, but some of our fans need to realize that those players could decide to transfer back home in the future.

It may not be likely within the SEC, but a recruit like Eric Shelton, who initially enrolled at FSU and then transferred closer to home at UofL, could have really done a lot for UK. Don't burn bridges in life because things happen.

I didn't expect to get so much backlash from a true statement. You'd think we'd be a tougher fanbase by now.

We win some and we lose some. Get over it, people.

I believe Lemmon that he did verbal to tide & disbelief the kids claim he is open. Ryan is a nobody if he tweeted this out it must b common knowledge. And if it is widely known then there is no surprise or ruining of a scheduled announcement. Him not visiting an watching UK practice this month spoils any attempt to say he is open an not already a done deal, any hard feeling then he And his fam only should look in the mirror.

Chico saban would never ever let wills or Harris transfer to UK. Never.

UK plays BAma this year, when will we play them again.

Based on the present situation I think Saban would welcome playing UK in the SEC championship instead of Florida, Georgia, TU, etc.

Yes, we'll be able to field a team, if that's what you mean by "fine".

"Someone from KSR said it so it must be true"

It's not true.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Lemond is friends with Wills parents. He probably would have a better idea of where hes going than anybody else.

100% Correct. We cannot lose players like this from our state and become a SEC competitor.

See that RB that left and went to Bama....I won't mention his name.
He's done next to nothing for Alabama so far, and probably would have been battling Kemp and Horton to back up Boom last year...and this year, as well. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure that he would be getting more carries than King. His sub 3.5 YPC carry behind Alabama's line, and against garbage time competition, hardly inspires a great deal of awe.

Just another in a long line of troubling signs that have been occurring the last couple of years. Hate to say it, but the word is out among elite recruits. The first couple of years Stoops was able to bring in some big time players, but since the back to back collapses his staff has struggled to be anything other than mediocre on the recruiting trail.

No more coach speak from Stoops, it's time for RESULTS. RESULTS. Dude can spit coachspeak with the best of them but the FANS and top shelf RECRUITS are jumping off the ship. You need some results coach.

You're right, he's a terrible player that will never be good at Bama. It's great we didn't sign him.

I can imagine being a true Kentucky fan and my son or daughter going anywhere else but UK. Especially if you were born in Kentucky, spent your entire life their in its school system and was a UK fan. Hell, my daughter is 10 years hold and a winning golfer here in Taiwan. Her dream is to play on the Ladies UK golf team.

That's not accurate with respect to recruiting, unless you would consider Landon Young, Kash Daniel, Drake Jackson, and Jordan Griffin to be mediocre recruits. All of them were signed AFTER he collapsed last year. Our best class on paper was 2014, on the field, 2015 or 2016 will probably end up being best. In any event, his first class was the least impressive. 2017 is off to a good start. If you want to hit Stoops, you probably to talk about other aspects of his regime than recruiting.

I don't know whether he'll be good at Bama or not. He's given no indication so far that he'll be good. You do understand that not all high school 5 star phenoms hit? Perhaps you don't grasp that concept. Here's the deal, UofLoL fan- about half of them do NOT hit. So far, Harris hasn't and there's a good chance that he never will. Got that?
