El Paso does some nice things offensively that I imagine Wilmo doesn’t see often. Will be curious to see if they can put up some points next week. This Wilmo team and their line play seems to be on a level that 2A will have a hard time dealing with.
I keep coming back to the fact that EP-G beat Reed-Custer by "only" 14 points.El Paso does some nice things offensively that I imagine Wilmo doesn’t see often. Will be curious to see if they can put up some points next week.

I imagine Reents has seen it all in his time at Wilmington. They will shut down the run. They will force you to pass and play Cover 0 while bringing one more guy than you have to block all while runing to the tune of 500 yards. Over/Under on passes thrown by Wilmington at .5El Paso does some nice things offensively that I imagine Wilmo doesn’t see often. Will be curious to see if they can put up some points next week.
None of that refutes anything with what I posted.I imagine Reents has seen it all in his time at Wilmington. They will shut down the run. They have a common opponent. EPG beat Reed Custer 28-14, Wilmington beat RC 54-6. Wildcats win by another running clock.None of that refutes anything with what I posted.
El Paso will do things that Wilmo doesn’t see often so curious if they are able to score some points.
If they have a chance to win - I’ll say they need to score 35+ points.
Was at the game and for few times I've been to Wilmington, this one was different.
Started with the Harleys, not sure how many but was a lot more than my last trips there. Then TV opens with a 3 and out and 2 plays later the Wildcats score. Another TV drive stalls, Wilmington scores in 1 play. From there on, I finally got to see what I've been reading.
The Wildcat offense is impressive and better than the past few times we played. All around, I think this is the best Wilmington team TV has seen.
TV was driving at the end of the half but left 10 seconds on the clock and Wilmington scored in 2 run plays.
Didn't help that one of TVs better athletes was hurt halfway through 1st quarter. However, it wouldn't have made a difference anyway. The Vikings battled through some injuries early this season and have a lot of youth on this squad and should contend next season with EPG who is also fairly young this season.
I believe those juniors have only lost a handful of games in all the years they have been playing from youth football until now. I would anticipate that team to be very close to the same team this year.55 bikes that night was the official count. Next year I expect Wilmo to be less of a force to be reckoned with. Still some great talent on the Junior level but losing some big names this year. I imagine they'll be competitive, as others have said Reents knows what he's doing. Until then, one game at a time
That's true, they are a special group coming up all the way from Bobcats and on. Hopeful for what's to come, but it would be hard to match the team we're seeing right now. Could Reents do it again? We'll see!I believe those juniors have only lost a handful of games in all the years they have been playing from youth football until now. I think they are losing two very important ;pieces. Kettman and Ohlund. Kettman is the best player in the conference and Ohlund is probably the best defensive player in the conference. They will be very good next year but a step down from this years team. Which will still be good enough to walk through 2AI believe those juniors have only lost a handful of games in all the years they have been playing from youth football until now. I agree. I think it would be hard to match this years team in terms of efficiency and explosiveness. View from the West suggested this team is better than both the 2021 and 2023 2A State champ teams. I was at the 2023 game and followed that season, I didn't really consider if this team was BETTER necessarily, definitely on par. I guess we'll ultimately see how the post-season wraps up. Losing Kettman and Ohlund is going to hurt, but they have many weapons at their disposal still and Reents will do what he does best.I think they are losing two very important ;pieces. They will have a lot to replace on the line. Their O line/TE this year are playing as good as I've ever seen. Having the QB as another running threat is also a new wrinkle, but I think the QB next year will also have good speed.I think they are losing two very important ;pieces. Kettman and Ohlund.
