I have a huge 2500 series truck and am considering window vent shades. Anyone here have them and do you recommend them either in the tape on or actually in the window channel type?

I have used channel style before and had good performance. I think they provide a cleaner look than the tape on style.

I have a 1500 and I have them on all 4 Windows. I have the channel type and I really like them.

Does a better job. Lasts longer. Doesn't damage window/tint - but oh no!!! It may not look cool. Pfffffffft
I had no performance issues with my in-channel vent shades - maybe you installed yours wrong. Never harmed my tint either - maybe you had a cheap tint job?

Tape-on vent shades = pap-caps = old man.

As if. I'm not a poor, so I don't install stuff myself.

Read a book. The in-channel ones offer less coverage, rattle, f up windows/tint, etc.

You can't install vent shades? WTF [roll]

I don't need to read a book - I've owned them and they worked great with no issues at all.

No. No rattle either since it's correctly placed outside the window.
Do you have problems going through tunnels since those tape-on vent shades protrude out so much further than the sleek design of the in-channel vent shades....I'd imagine if you drove fast enough you might be able to take off.

I had the taped version many years ago and one side became partially detached.
