Actually, qualifying for one of 68 spots is not a serious challenge for any ACC team that regularly places up to 8 teams in the tournament.

It is for a team coming off 4 wins that has rebuilt the roster with entirely Fr and Soph. He brings back a couple older guys that have experienced no success here.

If KP can get it going the right direction this year I could see them being loaded up for a year 3. Keep some of these prospects and maybe add 2-4 high end transfers and/or HS players for year 3. People said he couldn't recruit without NIKE he just pulled a borderline T5 class off historic bad year.

...Plus our athletic department isnt trying to pay 3 coaches for one season(will owe mack 1.6 in 2024-25, kp 3.3million, new cosch 2.5million), and then in 2025z26(kp 3.3million and new coach 2.5million). We have enough financial issues.

No doubt and glad to see someone else take a crack at the numbers!

Also consider that the entire basketball budget the last few years has been around $7 million annually. There's your head coaches' salaries/buyouts.

A half empty arena doesn't help.
