Downhill ski races are cool. Same with bobsled and luge. I might put up with figure skating if the better half wants to watch. Curling is good for a chuckle, but after 5 minutes I’m done. No interest in hockey, ice dancing, biathlon, or snowboarding.

Negative, Ed. Negative.

You ruin nearly every single GD thread you are in. Because, by hell, as soon as I post something, YOU are gonna make some GD sorry-*** little snide remark.
You have no idea how much it hurts me you don’t like me. I stay up nights grieving this. It’s the great failure of my life.

Bobsled for the win. Skiing is good. Hockey if the US is playing.

Speed skating is a great watch. Especially the short track kind.

Figure skating is pretty good.

All the sled events are fun and it’s quite amazing to see how much better the top teams are than the others in bobsled.

I wish I liked Hockey better. I have no idea if we’re a contender or not.

Ski jump is insane, and really fun to watch.

I’ll watch pretty much any of it as it’s a thousand percent better than anything else on non-sports TV.

Them Chinese know how to put on a show too. I assume they’ll pull out all the stops to apologize to the world.

If a million of them spelled out “Sorry for Rona” that might be entertaining.

Ed’s rooting for China, where Democracy flourishes, there are no CO2 emissions, the military is shrinking and they treat minorities like the Tibetans and the Uigyers with compassion and respect.

How’s your bobsled team of Hwang, Zhang, Chen and Chan shaping up Ed?

I'll not be watching one second of the winter Olympics. For one thing, there is no such thing as "winter olympics". It's all made for tv ********. The bigger thing though is it's in China. I don't care about their CO2 emissions, they do jackshit to the climate. I care because they are taking over our country due to mental midgets not being able to read the writing on the wall.

Oh yeah ed, I don't watch olympic golf either. Or basketball, or any other 'sport" that isn't running, jumping, or throwing something farther than I could throw you.

False! The RIP threads are not making fun of the person who died. They are a social commentary born of misidentification and unfamiliarity of the deceased. Those who understand, participate. Those who don't understand, for example ed, should not participate or even click on them.

Point Austin!
Those threads are ridiculous and very poor taste. When did it become cool to mock the dead.

Agreed. Might watch some speed skating if we have a contender in it.

Point for Ed!
A time out for a judgement on this ruling...................................point taken away because the fact is those threads are meant to be respectful for the most part as people use similar names, happenstances, looks, and accomplishments to pay an homage to the recently deceased. No point for Ped.
