If true, we’ll be playing two games in two days. (Also at Nebraska on Tuesday night.) Talk about a quick turnaround!

I would like the game better if Wahl was not playing for Wiscy. Hope our guys are near 100%. Make shots.

Not happy about this as it’s a total loss of home court advantage. Students and those with jobs will find it hard to attend. I will be there along with some of my group but several have to work. I am curious, who ordered the “Covid” tests that led to this? Is it a university policy to run a Covid test if a player is under the weather? Correct me if I am wrong but aren’t Covid tests known to produce false positives? What if the players had bad colds or the flu which showed up as false positives? At the end of the day, the health of the players is the most important thing but I am wondering if this was a major overreaction.

Pure speculation on my part, but I think that they were damn sure the players actually HAD Covid before cancelling games. My bet is that they were symptomatic.

I’d imagine that the only people in attendance will be retirees, students with Monday afternoons off, and students who are supposed to be in class on Monday afternoon. Seems like a net gain for NU.

There’s no need to test anymore unless someone is actually ill. Given close quarters, it makes sense that it would’ve moved quickly.

Geez, it would seem that the conference would be able to move Tuesday’s game back to Wednesday. Nebraska doesn’t play until Saturday.

Is it really re-scheduled for Monday?
Northwestern hasn't said anything that I can find.
And we play at Nebraska on Tuesday.
That wouldn't be too good.

Isn't there some kind of rule in BIG about having more time between games? Specially having to travel the following day.. Could damage chances against NEB if we have to play them on TUes
