Going in with a party of 4.Will be there with three others.
Did you add one for my friend?Me too. That makes 35 in this thread so far. Plus the student section, which will have a number between 40 (1 bus) to 500 (our student allotment which someone said we sold out) students + 30 students in the band + however many cheerleaders.
Bummed that youth basketball responsibilities wont allow me to attend, Have many memories of RU in the garden ....
RU-St Johns in 76
RU-UNC in Feb 78 (bad loss)
RU winning the holiday festival in the dec 1978
RU taking UNC to OT in Jan 1980
RU Georgetown in tne BET
Hoping we can get back to the days of RU being a major draw in the Garden
....hope we can some day soon be good enough to justify RU in the Jimmy V Classic and win and make Jimmy smile above
Really bummed...bring back a W down the NEC line to New Brunswick!!!
My first game in person. I think Rodney Duncan is still lobbing alley oops to James Bailey.I think Cincinnati was #6 when RU beat them at MSG.
Conservative estimate 30 minutes before tipoff: Wisconsin fans outnumber RU fans by a ratio of about 100:1. Ugh.
RU should play all its home BB games at MSG and all it's home Football Games at Yankee Stadium. Then it can truly say it is NYC's team, and lose all it's alum fans forever.
I guess the RU busses didnt get there yet
