I keep reading about how peeps are enamored with Wisconsin, with Alvarez, how the rebuild should follow theirs.

I know he’s an alum, but his conference record was 65-60-3...and it wasn’t skewed just by early seasons,

He was more mediocre than others we claim are average or crappy programs.
Out hope should be Mooss can be as good as him, but that Frost is much better

Frost isn't following the formula of how Wisconsin was built. He is following the formula of what Tom Osborne had implemented for decades.

The similarities come into play for how the programs were broken, large attrition numbers (50+), having to teach players how to win, etc, etc. Barry implemented a mixture of the former Iowa coach and the former Notre Dame coach and implemented the philosophy of schemes from Tom Osborne.

Frost is implementation a new concept of positionless players at skill positions on offense. There aren't any teams in college football that are doing that at an elite level. Oklahoma has the most dynamic offense in the country and they don't do anything with postionless football - for them it's still QB, WR, and RB. No mixture.
