That is pure unadulterated dominance.

Win or lose tonight, it's the best home W-L home record for a coach in his first 100 games in program history.
Yes, that includes Rupp.

That is just stupid.
Damn, 96-4. For all you rubes out there who can't cipher that's almost 90%. Pretty impressive indeed.
Not sure if serious????

Mathematically, it would be an exact 96% winning percentage. He will have won 96 games out of 100-----96/100 = 0.96 = 96%.

In North Carolina, it might actually be 90%. Who knows what they have been teaching the last 20 years or so? Up is down Down is up. Cheat and no punishment. Lawless and uneducated state. GBB

Actually, you went the wrong way. In NC, it would be over 99.9%. Dean Smyth would say that he gradUated 99.9% of his players even if it were 4 out of 100.

All of those sting in their own way. But in those 96 wins are perfect vs UL, UNC, Tennessee.

What's more amazing is UK shouldn't have lost those 4. If that had been the case Cal would now be approaching the home court record set by UK in the 40's and 50's. Pretty much thought to be untouchable, and I guess it is. These would have been the six years to do it. Might be a while before we'll have another run of seasons like this.

Does any coach have a better winning percentage in his first 100 home games as a HC at a particular school? Can't imagine there would.

Agreed for the most part, but have to disagree on the FL game. They were a lot better than we were when we lost to them last year. We finally figured out how to play with them and potentially beat them in the SEC Tourney, but came up 1 point short.

True enough. But if the Cat's had played all year as they did at the end they could have won their home games. Oh well, we can't have everything. As great as Cal's run has been we could easily have 3 titles instead of just 1. That 1 sure was sweet though. Hopefully the team and Cal bring home the 2nd of his tenure this year.

Possibly. We were on a 55 game home winning streak when we lost to Baylor in 2012. Nobody is touching UK's record 129 home streak 1943-55.

I don't know why it took so long last year to get it together. If we had got it together by conference play then yeah we probably finish off that FL game stronger and win. That Ark game at home last year pissed me off (especially after how bad the refs screwed us at Arkansas).

The NIT team just never had any cohesiveness...what shocks me is they won at home against Missouri and FL after Noel got hurt...yet lost the two home games with him playing against two teams they should have beat.
