Obama is threatening Dems into supporting or at least not opposing the Iran deal. His argument is that the Republicans will win if Dems abandon this deal. Nevermind what's best for the country, we can't let the Republicans win. What a joke.

Re: Politics??? From a politician????

This is the most important foreign policy agreement in decades and you're defending Obama's politicization of this issue? To hell with what's best for the country, you can't let Republicans win. Willful blindness.

I hope the deal gets passed.

Because then we get to eat our dessert first.

This country deserves to be diminished ...... and lord knows the current administration (urged on by the likes of the usual tard culprits here who defend them) is doing all they can to make it happen.

Iran blows up mock battleships while claiming "Death to America" and we're helping them enrich uranium. Brilliant strategy. Let's see if it pays off for us.

I hope we're dodging nukes soon. Maybe whatever people are left standing will use this as a lesson to vote for something other than smart phones next time.

DOOMED!!!!!!

Re: I hope the deal gets passed.

I am simply amazed at the naivete of many liberals and specifically Obama. Detente was partially successful because we knew that the Soviet Union would not use nuclear weapons since it would result in mutually assured destruction. Does anyone think the tyrants in the Middle East have that same set of rational thoughts? They will use whatever weapons they have available. Syria is currently using chemical weapons against their opponents.

Permitting Iran to develop nukes will start an immediate arms race in the Middle East and will ultimately result in their use.

You don't honestly think this man is clueless, do you?

Open the borders ..... reduce the military to numbers that are our lowest in almost a century ..... slash our nuclear capability while not holding Russia to those same standards ..... bringing race relations to their lowest point since the 60's and ushering in civil unrest (this will come in handy later) ..... seizing the internet (this should be a doozy in the near future) .... having more people in history dependent on the government for benefits (thus, ensuring their silent consent) ..... destabilizing the Middle East to levels never seen before in the region (and boy, is that saying something) ............. not only not repealing Bush's Patriot Act but taking it to an entirely new level ........ targeting Christians ...... Fast & Furious .......treating enemies as friends and friends as enemies ......the list is endless.

He's following the playbook perfectly ......... and only those here and abroad who jiggle his nuts on a daily basis can't see it.

DOOOOOOMED!!!!

Re: Let the Republicans win? Win what?

You'll have to ask Obama that question. He is the one using that argument.

Where did I defend Obama's politicization? You seem shocked and astonished that Obama would play politics with anything, as if that's somehow unique to him. No politician throughout our history has ever politicized anything before Obama!!

Willfull blindness ... that's funny coming from you. Nobody on this entire board epitomizes willfull blindness more than you.
