Dear Cancel Culture,
I would like to nominate the phrase "With that being said..." for your consideration. It has quickly risen to the top of my annoyance chart. Like no person can just say what they are thinking or what they have decided without some empty platitude or explanation followed by the phrase and what they really want to say. Please find something to be offended about and wipe it from today's vernacular.

“Quick question,” is the absolute worse. It’s never quick and it’s almost always during my lunchtime.

Which leads me to, “I know it’s your lunchtime, but …”. No. Leave me alone.

“Paradigm shift,” seems to have gone away. That’s progress.

Honestly, most of the things that adults say bothers me a lot.

The strange "not" added to questions is what gets me as it seems to be ingrained in the local Appalachian dialect.

And please make sure to ban the misuse of the word, literally. Drives me insane. My daughter recently ran a half marathon, and posted about it on social media.
