Should we drop Clemson and pick up another cupcake? Maybe have UGA drop GaTech and start playing each other at the end of the year. Thoughts?

Keep the rivalry. The SEC schedule will be brutal but that's the conference we have.

If I'm not mistaken, the new 9 game schedule mandates that SEC teams are required to schedule at least one additional high quality non-conference from the Atlantic Coast, Big Ten or Big 12 conferences or Notre Dame each season. Clemson on our schedule fulfills that requirement and we really aren't at a disadvantage for it.

It does. Which means Missouri is about to sign a 10 year home and home agreement with UCF.

Clemson, although they won this last time, is no where near what they used to be. They are not good.

We should not be sweating them on our schedule. It is a very winnable game.

If we dropped them off the schedule, they would immediately become a 4-5-win team every year. That's the way it goes for teams who roll onto and off of our schedule.

I can almost guarantee UF will have their best season in a decade next year.

As much as I dislike the ACC, I`m glad it`s getting better. I don`t think Clemson will run roughshod through their conference games anymore. Dabo may not be on the hotseat(don`t know why) but I think he`s getting close.

I get that. But games played 2, 3 or even two years ago have no bearing on next years game. And certainly not games played 100 years ago.

Historically, they win more than they lose against us.

But for right now, they are not a team we need to be afraid of.

They aren't getting better when Duke is playing for the championship.
