Congrats to our team. They kicked *** in the 2nd half, which was especially cool after listening to EKU’s Coach blabbering at halftime how Louisville hasn’t put another drive together after their first.

It is just nice to see a coaching staff have a plan and execute it. They obviously had a plan to play over 30 something guys on defense today to build depth. Were as the former staff would have just tried to run up the score. This staff used this game to establish some depth and to get Malik, our backs, and receivers some reps.

There are so many positives. A staff that believes in what it is doing. Heart, effort and grit. It’s enough to warm the cockles of an old man’s heart. :D

Trending in the positive direction! ESPN’s Football Power Index has us up to 61, ahead of WKU (103) and Syracuse (70), BC and Wake Forest are just ahead at 56 and 55. Miami (29), UK (30), Virginia (31), NC State (35) and FSU (38) are all clustered together and still well ahead of us, and of course there is Clemson at #2.

That’s a darned tough schedule! The FPI is now showing us with 4.8 wins.

IMHO Wins

Probable [High Chance]: WKU, Wake, Cuse
Coin Flip [50/50]: UK, FSU, BC
Not Likely [Low Chance]: UVA, Miami, NC St
Not Happening [No Chance]: Clemson

Right now Wake and Syracuse would still be Vegas favorites over us. And UK and BC would be at least 7+ favorites. UofL vs FSU probably a coin flip except it’s at Tally

I'm putting Miami and NC St in the 50/50 category. I don't think either of those teams are better than UK.

My crystal ball says that we go into the game with uakay with 5 wins fighting for a Bowl Game.
