Our girls are and have been playing out of control and making careless passes the whole game. I’m not impressed by our coach at all, one on one basketball doesn’t equal wins in this game.

Wow, those last two shots from France were straight from the Colon. Being a Kentucky fan prepares you for shots like that and bank shots from 40 feet. We see it all.
The USA needed a 3 point shooter. Oh they left her back in the States!!
I tried watching but the product is horrible. They missed more layups than Jared Pricket. Both teams combined for 8-33 shooting to start the game.
Many of the American athletes have been flashy and arrogant. The Olympics are about amateur sport and there is a certain humility in the rest of the world’s participants.

Yeah, bizarre some people are still stuck up on this. The other girl had a much bigger gripe as the 2nd leading scorer n the league.
Same gold medal, but at least it may have been more certain, and less up for grabs. Coming down to the last second aint where the USA needs to be in women's hoops.

Yep, i would say every track and field medal winner is a professional. And by the way congrats on the 2 UK female athletes that took the gold in the hurdle events. Sydney is so far ahead of the rest of the world the races aren't even competitive. I would like to see her spend some time getting the flat 400m WR too, but she may have no interest in doing that.
Maybe Rhyne Howard would have made a difference while I wear my blue glasses...[winking]
The only reason France lost this game was because they took some horrible 3's in the second half.
Talent rises....she can shoot and score....something USA was struggling to do. Aint her groupie in the slightest, but just acknowleding talent.

Actually, I said this because of what I watched in the Championship game the US girls were throwing up bricks and getting mugged when they forced ball after ball inside. An outside shooter I believe would have been an easier game.
Could you have imagined the meltdown on this board if the last second French shot wouldve been a 3. with the coach not fouling.
