Beat a good Iowa team by 10. Hold the B1G leading scorer to a season low 8. Only bad news is Pulliam seems to be hurt. She only had 6 points, missed badly on 2 FTs near the end, and is wearing that muscle tape on her right shoudler, like Gaines did last season. Hope its not serious.

Still can’t make free throws. This could be their downfall when teams start fouling them early and often down the stretch if they are behind.

Correct. Couldn't believe how bad they were at the foul line, not only down the stretch, but the entire game. This was a game we should have won by 20. Lack of size really hurts us as well. Iowa's center scored at will. She made her first 10 shots, and generally kept them in the game. Our defense won it by forcing turnovers. Burton was, once again, the best player on the floor, but she missed several free throws as well.

It's unusual for a good women's team to be bad at the FT line. Women's team often shoot a better percentage than the men.
Do the women use a smaller ball than the men? I seem to recall that was the case years ago.

Yep, and that's what is alarming. When you shoot 24 free throws and only make half of them, that's pretty bad.
