Wow, we look like UConn so far. Carolina has been hurt by transfers, but they're not this bad (though maybe we are just this good!)
Final, 85-72, Cats win. Maggie Lyon with 31. These girls can play. Top ten ranking pretty soon, I'd think, if they don't trip up. Big game with DePaul coming up in a few weeks, but a "roadie" at Gentile against Loyola next Sunday could be interesting too.

The women look good, and I hope they have a great year, but I have a hard time getting excited about women's ball as long as it's UConn and everyone else. Whatever one thinks of Geno, he runs a hell of an evil empire up there.

I've never made a comment anywhere about InsideNU.
A couple of former Daily guys pointed them out to me and when I said I was a WNUR guy they were highly aloof and uninterested. Falls in line with when I was asked to participate for Sportsathon and couldn't due to scheduling, I never got a response or a "thanks."
