Women's BB recruiting

Coach McKeown is killing it on the recruiting trail. NU women's bball should be a force the next several years, after tying for the B1G championship this year.

The class of 2020 is headlined by 5-star Anna Morris, a 6-2 forward/center. Others in the class are 6-0 guard Jasmine McWilliams and 6-1 forward Paige Mott, both 3-stars.

The class of 2021 has 4 verbals, most recently 4-star Caileigh Walsh, a 6-4 forward/center. The other three are 5-9 guard Melannie Daley, and ESPN 100 4-stars Jillian Brown, a 5-10 guard, and Hailey Weaver, a 5-11 guard.

McKeown probably needs to add some height but the classes are rounding out nicely.

Good thread. Per ESPN, Anna Morris is NU's best recruit since Morgan Jones way back in 2011 (she transferred to FSU after one year). Hopefully we'll be hosting an NCAA Tournament game soon.

Yep, and every time I see that NU ad with Veronica Burton on BTN talking about all of the members of her family who went to NU I get a little teared-up. She also mentions her fiance, who I believe is Greg Newsome. Hope they have kids who follow in their footsteps at NU.
