ESPN has us an 8th seed vs Florida Gulf Coast. We would play South Carolina if we win. Interesting they have Rutgers, a team we beat twice in the last 2 weeks, a 7th seed in the same region. Too bad we couldn't have held that lead against Maryland on Saturday.

I would be stunned if Rutgers is a higher seed than us. They were trending negative and at least one of their main players suffered a serious injury in the game against us.

We get little respect from Charlie Creme and the other rare women's bracketologists out there. I don't understand it. Our RPI is also surprisingly low given our 8-7 record vs. Sagarin Top 50, which is very good. Of course Sagarin has us 17th.

I'll be very disappointed if we are an 8 seed. I'll be really pissed if we are ranked behind Rutgers -- the resumes aren't comparable AND we beat them both times we played them.

A 7 seed would even be a slight snub in my opinion, with a 6 seed probably fair. I think our national ranking of 22 is pretty close to the mark to be honest.

No way we're an 8 seed. We should be a 6. Our national ranking would be totally out of sync with an 8 and losing to the #4 team in the country in the conference semis should not penalize us. 7 would disappoint, but not surprise me.

Game over. sorry

If we win, we play South Carolina at their house. Sucks. I can't see us winning in a hostile environment there.

Charlie Creme finally looked at the records of NU and Rutgers (guess he was busy with other things), and flipped them, so NU is now his projected 7th seed in Baylor's bracket and Rutgers is the 8th in South Carolina's bracket.

Actually, he still has Rutgers as #27 on his s-curve and NU at #30. Some "procedural bumps" made him move NU up to a 7 and Rutgers down to 8.

I think that's probably code for not wanting to admit he overlooked NU by moving them several slots several days after their last pre-tourny games. Or else he only cares about bad losses and nothing else matters.
