Probably something like this.I am not detective and I know little about the case, but if I had to guess here is what happened:
Black girl 1 gets into some sort of disagreement with Bi-Racial girl during school hours. Black girl 1 challenges Bi-Racial girl to a fight after school. Black girl 1 shows up with all of her friends expecting a fight. Bi-Racial girl and her friend show up to the playground with the kid. Bi-Racial girl doesn't want to look scared of Black Girl 1, but also doesn't want to fight. So, she brings the kid to the playground so that she is still at the fight site, but she can say she isn't there to fight she is just there to babysit her little cousin while she plays. Then she doesn't look scared because she didn't show up, but she gets out of the fight because there is a kid present. Black Girl 1 still challenges her to fight when the kid is in her arms. Bi-Racial girl refuses to fight because of the child and Black Girl 2 takes matters (hair) into her own hands in a brutal and outrageous manner.

Well that is absurd.Very likely what happened and what I've been trying to say for most of the thread. My other point is that no matter how this went down it is in no way equal to a white male adult walking into a church and slaying 9 people. That is the reason this thread was created, seeking equal coverage as if the crimes were similar.
