He came on some at the end of the season - excited what a full basketball offseason will do for him.
Question - did anyone notice that he never dunked even when he was unimpeded towards the basket? I’m sure he’s got some hops - but he always went for a layup. Wonder if he had a bad missed dunk in a game or something.

All I know was one of my favorite plays of the year was his full court drive to the basket and he made the shot!

He had the one monster dunk. But he’s more finesse around the rim instead of explosion. I’m good with that since it seems to go in a lot.

The scouting report out of HS is that he doesnt play above the rim.

Here it is - granted your main point stands on him going for layups. Hopefully, next season gains more muscle, confidence and is more assertive at the rim. But just glad this season he was a contributor.
