Tennessee is now talking with Gundy.

Could the mullet be leading the Rocky Top Cheer? That's a mental picture.
I would be shocked if he leaves Stillwater for Knoxville. But who knows. Money makes people make some very bad decisions.

No way. He'd be a fool. Back to Shiano and the faux outrage among idiotic Vols fans, I read in the paper yesterday a quote from a fan who said, "it doesn't matter what the truth is, it's what people think the truth is". Welcome to Red State America.

just watched a report that said they are willing to tear up the checkbook in an attempt to quiet the media disaster they have created for themselves re schiano....and Gundy seems to be listenening...although some OSU folks say he does this every now and then to squeeze more bucks out of T Boone

Me too. Knoxville is a coaching blackhole. Mullet could just be using this to get OSU to renegotiate.

you mean bad decisions like "giving away" excess uranium for ....let's say....145 million dollars?......that kind of bad decision?

After the failed Schiano hire and at least three others telling UT to jump in a lake, rumor is they are now looking at Kevin Sumlin. Yeah.............those rednecks are going to support that one.

Hopefully Sumlin will tell them "no thanks" as he can do better even though no other school will offer him the money UT has. But there is more important things than money when you have millions.

FSU would be an excellent fit for Sumlin. But I hate FSU so I wish him well but I won't root for him there either.

I agree. I think he would be good there. The SEC West is a career killer for coaches.

Change subject a little, I love Herm Edwards. Always have dating back to when he recovered Joe Piszarcik's fumble and scored the winning TD in the waning seconds against the Giants in one of the biggest blunders ever. One of my favorite bets that I ever won. And he is a great analyst and I was a fan in both of his head coaching gigs in the NFL. Does he have a chance at Arizona St if he gets hired? I don't know about that one. But that piece of **** ASU just fired, he deserves the same fate as Butch Jones. Hope neither get a head coaching job again.

He can win if he is able to get good coordinaters. I had read they kept the whole staff and just fired Graham but surely they would give him a shot to hire his guys?
