This third strike call from the Little League World Series is THE single worst call I’ve ever seen. The catcher sets up in the opposite batter’s box and the pitch is at least a foot inside that box...

Heck that sort of crap happens every day at the LL WS . Guys are AWFUL !

A terrible call that I loved:
1978 EKU vs wku in OVC tourn finals. Eastern won by hitting free throws awarded because of a foul called on wku 3.5 seconds after the clock ran out. Being an EKU grad, the only thing better than beating wku is the joy of them knowing they got the shaft. In fact, following that game t-shirts were made saying "Bend over western, it only takes 3 1/2 seconds"

The play that led to Instant Replay in the NFL was a completion in the end zone from Jim Harbaugh to a Colts receiver against the Steelers that was called incomplete. That miss allowed the Steelers to go to the Super Bowl against the Cowboys.

Yep, the Secretary General of FIBA was Renato William Jones. Jones had a contentious relationship with USA Basketball and wanted the USA to lose. He personally came out of the stands and ordered the timekeeper to put three seconds on the clock after the first inbounds play. He would later state that he had no authority to direct such a move but the timekeeper was obviously intimidated by his position. He had a questionable relationship with the Soviets and there was also a lot of talk that one of the referees from Bulgaria had been threatened with kidnapping of his family unless he took measures to ensure a Soviet victory. Jones, obviously an arrogant bastard, made the statement prior to the Olympics that "if he ever had the chance then he would affect the outcome", as international basketball was being stifled as the Americans kept winning. The USA protested the outcome and Jones made another conterversial remark that "the Americans need to learn how to lose...........". The fix was in.

This thread begins and ends with this.
We were playing FL at home in early-00's & were ahead late. JLo threw a pass that was blocked just beyond the line. The ball went straight down & bounced straight back up into the FL player's hands. It was ruled at INT.
