John Penette. Annoying voice, very loud and not funny at all.
He's never been funny. One of his go tos for laughs was acting like a clown. This was a long time ago and the crowd was all laughing. I remember thinking that this guy sucks. He's one of the worst comedians I've ever watched.

Not for political reasons, but especially on the daily show, it was like he was trying entirely too hard.

Rogan does suck. As stated before, he's put a lot of ppl on, but his stand-up in itself sucks.

Mencia is irrelevant and his career is over so I don't even think about him.

John Mulaney sucks

Pete Davidson sucks, he's made an entire career solely bc his dad died on 9/11

Ppl who've forgotten what comedy is: Colbert, Kimmel. Their shows are basically late night liberal group therapy

Hannah Gadsby is gawd awful
And let's be honest, female comedians mostly suck. They just do. There's a couple that are OK.

GOAT and top new currently: Chappelle, Burr, Louis CK, Gillis, Theo (theo is actually better in long form podcasts bc of the random stories he comes up with)

I also like Tim Dillon in podcast form.

I could name some comedians from earlier times (60s/70s) but that wouldn't be fair. They were funny for their day but not so much now. Not all but many.

Not a fan of Mulaney? I thought his last few specials were really solid, Kid Gorgeous and Baby J. Very good IMO. But I could see his personality not working for everyone.

The problem with newer female comics is that they all just lean too far into sexuality, which ones can out-slut the others. Ill give Nikki Glazer some credit here because it seems she started this schtick (her and Lisa Lampanelli i guess? I actually think both are/have been solid).. but it was actually controversial at the time. It was funny and pretty ballsy to do.. until they all followed. Literally like 90% of female comics try to use sex appeal and let the audience (men) know they're a little freaky. Brittany Schmidt, very nice on the eyes, basically did an entire bit about getting plowed by NBA players. And then just double-downed on this material over and over and over.

I love Mitch Hedberg. Dude was a nut. I played some video of him at work and the younger guys were just not getting it.
Mitch Hedberg and Steven Wright need to do a one liners joke off.

A person now who is not funny but use to be pretty good in her younger years was Rosie Odonnell. Back when she was doing Flashlight. She was actually pretty good. She lost it when she went political. Many do.

Anyone you don't like is going to be the worst, despite them being extremely popular on the national stage.

Not really. Several mentioned here that I don't care for (a variety of reasons) but I don't believe ALL of them would be on my 'worst' list. Plus, if they aren't at least somewhat popular/known, we wouldn't know who they are to label them 'worst' or not, right? I mean, the guy who emcees at the local comedy club may not be funny and may be, in fact, the worst comedian, but he's not a well-known so would never be mentioned.

Similar to music, it's all about your personal preferences. I know I'm guilty of saying a particular band I don't like 'sucks' but that's factually incorrect on my part. Any musician who has achieved some level of fame is talented. Whether they play/create music to my taste is open to debate. But, as a technician of their chosen musical instrument(s), they don't 'suck'.

Tom Green is the undisputed worst. I can’t recall anything I ever saw him do that was remotely funny.

Several mentions I agree with and I’ll add Kevin James. Saw him a few years ago and the show was ok. Not great but it was as expected. I saw him his last time at the opera house and it was just bad. The whole thing was basically “boomer humor” about smoking in an enclosed car and drinking water from a hose. It was a whole routine pulled from Facebook memes.

Jerry Seinfeld has fallen victim to the celebrity vortex, too. Much like Howard Stern.

He’s become a completely unfunny, whiny old man. His status is untouchable between his standup and Seinfeld, but he’s lost all of his fastball.

I randomly saw Tom green at a comedy club like 10 years ago and he was actually really funny. No weird act just pure stand up and he had everyone laughing pretty hard

Mitch Hedberg is dead so that will not be a possibility.

Nate Bargatze is my current fave and he’s pretty clean too.

Honestly I don’t know myself. I tend to not remember the ones I think suck because I never think about em enough again to look em up.

Mitch Hedberg's best joke: I used to do drugs. I still do drugs, but I used to too. RIP
Yea. I liked his one ... This jacket is dry clean only. That means it's dirty.

Most unorthodox style ever. I've heard stories about him and most shows he's drunk and high as a kite but could still get laughs.

He had a funny joke about Reece's cups. Once he realized that there was an apostphre s, he wouldn't eat them around anyone named Reece because he was afraid they would say the cups were theirs.

I loved his show and have watched every episode dozens of times, but his stand up was never the least bit funny to me. I never understood how he ever even made it in comedy. Ron White never appealed to me and Larry the Cable Guy was a one trick pony and kind of a fraud as far as I was concerned. Those 2 just rode Foxworthy's coattails.

He actually had stage fright for the most part too. It’s why he would wear sunglasses and avoid looking at the crowd. He’d either look away or always be looking down.

Anthony Jeselnik nailed it IMO - anybody who's really more of a podcaster than a comedian. Joe Rogan, Bill Maher, Kreischer, Dillon, Theo, etc. They have successful shows but aren't very funny on stage. Their act sucks. Being clever in interviews is their talent, it's an area they had to move into. Aided with a quick wit during conversation, we've all had friends like that, they can't actually write or perform consistently amusing, original material worth a ****.

Saw Theo Von absolutely BOMB in a Louisville comedy club years before his podcast took off and legit thought he was R worded, but then he turns around and gives people like Bernie Sanders, RFK Jr., and Donald Trump perhaps the most interesting, unique interviews they've ever done.

Do yourself and skip the latest roast on Netflix. Now they’re just churning them out without any quality checks. Truly waste of time given it was only 40 minutes to begin with.
