Can you please just stop acting like UK is world beaters after winning a game we were supposed to win by the skin of our teeth on a dropped TD pass? It's just pathetic. Why are we ok with being just as good as Vandy? Why is the completely fine with our fanbase? Let's beat a team we're not supposed to beat for once then act like something good is happening. We beat the 2 worst teams in the SEC. I'm happy I won. But I also understand it was a win vs the WORST SEC TEAM at HOME and let's just thank the football gods for allowing the Vandy TE for dropping that wide open TD pass. In what way am I a moron? For having more football IQ than you? Sad.
The punter that dropped the freaking snap and still was able to get punt away? I credit Vandy. As anyone should when the other teams punter or QB drops a snap. Am I supposed to credit UK or Stoops for the punter dropping the snap? Really?
We must be going in the right direction when our fans are content with being just as good as Vandy. Acting like vandy is a true SEC powerhouse is the same thinng as acting like UK is a true football powerhouse. But you're right, allowing 35 unanswered points to the terrible OC we just fired and losing to the terrible OC we just fired is apparently the right direction. Especially when your team just won the battle of worst team in SEC. Greeeaaaatttt. Fans like this is exactly why we've sucked for so long. As long as we lose to coaches we just fired and win the battle of worst team in the SEC by the skin of our teeth on a dropped TD pass at the end is good enough for them. I hate our fanbase because they'll never expect more than being equal to Vandy after 4 years of a new HC. At this point we should be kicking the dog ish out of vandy. Year in... And year out. The worst team in SEC dropped as TD pass to likely win the game (what an ironic way to win BTW lol) and all of a sudden we're headed in right direction. Terrible.
You can credit anyone you like, but more than likely most would say the player who partially blocked the punt. The question was not about who dropped the snap,but the player who was in position to block the punt. Sorry, but I'm typing as slow as I can.
We got a "squeegie" win at home over the only team worse than us. If that Vandy tight end had an understanding that you actually are supposed to catch passes and also block as a te, it would have went to overtime.
Andre, actually reading between the lines I see the spirit of the message you want to convey--and that is not accepting wins like these as watershed moments/accepting mediocrity etc. I actually respect that as I want to get to the next level, too.
Personally, I'm glad to see that our defense played well. If we can eek out six wins, I think we can build on it for next season. Johnson is young and Gunnar is waiting on the wings.

Football game today was excellent as compared to my time in school back in 1969-1972. I have seen U.K. Lose games on the last series of the game at least 50 times. Today's win is the result of good effort. The athletes on this team is better than many years of past recruiting. They will get better.
The ball bounced funny. It bounced funny on the punt fumble we did recover.
Please quit posting all of your negative dribble. Please donate the $18M necessary for the buyout or hold your comments. It would b better for all
Y'all need to listen to AndreGoulda4UK. Dude played on a state championship high school football team. He knows. Y'all fans keep coaching these guys to. E mediocre. That needs to stop. Agree on the blocked punt. When you don't have a block play on, and literally sentnone guy towards kicker, the player isn't truly selling out to go for the block and hit kicker. We were getting good field position (ball rolled 25 yards) and don't have block play on maybe trying to set a return in case of a long line drive kick. We sent about everyone into the return. They just happened to bobble the snap with no rush coming. If we have a block play that was six. It was one rusher against three in the wall

Replay it again, he DID NOT. Partially block anything, hence why it was still a 40 yard punt. And yea it's kind of hard to not be in position to block a punt when the punter takes 6 seconds to get the punt off
Florida is who we thought they were! If you wanna crown em. Crown they ***!! Just an all around humiliating performance against a team that isn't even that good. And yes. Florida isn't that good this season. Believe it or not. Florida's offense is putrid and we made them look like world beaters. Beating the worst SEC team now all of a sudden stoops is some great coach who'll likely still finish with 5 wins. Yet we still have to hear this BS?

The thread was started exactly at the moment we didn't recover the muffed punt. It was a pathetic play that was as sad as I've seen as far as pathetic plays go. I'm pretty sure every UK fan watching said to themselves. Well damn ain't that just pathetic, when that play happened.

The biggest problem is no one can make a remark about the team without you going all squirrelly on them. And when someone asks you a question, you start accusing and putting words in our mouths that we didn't say. Look, get over being pissed off, you're feel better if this staff and HC gets replaced, and then hopefully you can smile. But until it happens get off everyone's back..
No, just like I didn't forget that Appy State almost beat TENN, 20-13, and South Alabama beating Miss State, 21-20, LA Tech almost beat ARK, 20-21, and Nicholls State almost beat GA, 24-26. Teams have bad games, unfortunately the really good teams still manage to pull their games out.
I don't know what he wants? Why doesn't he just wait and see how things turn out? They have looked better the last 2 weeks, yes they have played bad teams but damn, you have to play the teams on your schedule. We will see if they have improved over the course of the season. How bad would he be *****&8g if they had lost the last 2?
