I thought loses were loses. No moral victories around here. Pretty sure someone on here has lectured me about that.
We're talking about who has the worst offense. Nice try moving the goal posts - maybe you should start a different thread?

1. become the winningest football coach at

2. Resurrected the program from oblivion

Cal took over an established program w history
#2 has now reverted back to being in the ashes … or back to embarrassing oblivion if you like that word better.

The sad thing is - as inept as Cal is coaching offense, he looks like Pat Riley Lake Show to compared to Stoops **** Show.
Although I am sorely disappointed with both, I'm not sure I agree with your assessment.

Stoops
  • Stoops has at lease shown flashes of flexibility with the hire of Coen, portal pick up of Levis and W. Robinson (among others), and improved passing last year.
  • He tried to keep the ball rolling with the Scang hire, and the employment of a T-total terrible OL scheme (which he should have simplified early in the season), but he was at least trying to continue on the positive arc re: offensive balance.
Cal
  • Calilpari by comparison, has a roster that 99% of CBB coaches can only dream of, and he keeps pounding the round peg players into the square hole of his antique offense.
  • Cal gives lip service to an offensive upgrade, but in my estimation he has not yet tried to adjust.

In the worst offense derby, I say Coach Cal wins by a nose.

We will have to agree to disagree. The thread is not about who tries the hardest or is more adaptable, it's about production. Regardless of players, schemes, flexibility, etc. Stoops has consistently had one of the worst offenses in FB. And it's not an anomaly, dude has had 10 years and 10 recruiting classes to get where he wants. He just sucks major dong when it comes to offensive and special team FB.

Cal's O is antiquated, built for NBA ready kids, and he's not flexible but it has much better results.

.....and Cal pushes his chips "all in" with the BB team's performance against Gonzaga.

No, the thread is about two coaches who suck at coaching offense. It doesn’t matter whose side you’re on … they both suck. But only one of them brings in the top recruiting class in the country every year, yet still can’t put an offense together.

It's about results. Cal is a disaster at offense but looks like Pat Riley coaching the Showtime Lakers compared to Stoops.

Calipari’s team was 10th in the nation in offensive efficiency last season. So it has to be Stoops.
Stop quoting facts the OP just likes to piss and moan and he constantly complains about two our best coaches historically speaking.
