Seriously, take away the fact that it is Mark Gormley and the cheesy video and it is actually a pretty good song, I would love for a metal band to cover it and do it right.

Some of greatest Beavis and Butthead moments came from this video. Yes yes yes when camera was on chick and no no no when it was on the non chicks.
A rapper attempting to sing. An auto-tuned Tim McGraw. A monotonous beat and the same damn line repeated...over and over agee'in. An utter disaster on every level.
Never had a problem with this song. Not a fan of it by any means, but it was clearly a pastiche of 70s arena rock. The video is cheesy, but I believe that was the intent. The solo at the end is pretty solid.
I am ashamed I did not find it first. That video has something for everyone. Dwarfs, fighting, dancing monkeys, trannies for Charlie Sheen. A masterpiece.
