I watch this show too. I've noticed the same things with it. Plus, these guys are always only about 5 mi from an extraction point/civilization. I'd just hike there on the first day.

Bar Rescue. Mr. Taffer can really turn a bar around. Never saw a money pit he couldn't turn into a money maker.
Two Broke Girls....I believe it's called. My wife watches it and I'm usually there just to spend time with her before I head to the internet for the rest of the night.
I watch this show and I've wondered the same thing. Why wait until day 19 or so? Just get there ASAP before you're dehydrated and malnourished.
I've also wondered why they're so dirty when they're always around a source of water.
Probably one of the worst shows ever to be made is Mountain Monsters. I'll end up watching about 5 minutes of it from time to time, but cannot sit through whole episodes. The entire thing is fat fake hillbillies running around in the woods scared of nothing, oh, and building traps to catch the nothing that they are running from. Just awful.
That channel, Destination America, might be the worst thing ever were it not for BBQ Pitmasters.
Come to think of it, anything set in the Appalachian Mountains is usually pretty terrible and yet I still find myself watching from time to time. Mountain Men has the SOB from NC and Moonshiners is entertaining but staged and goofy as hell. Still, I often like to watch those shows because of the shots of the scenery that they show between the stupidity.

My wife watches Party Down South, and holy white trash redneck. What an awful show. My favorite part is she won't let me tell anyone she watches it because it's so ******.
i watch Bad Ink on netflix. its about stupid tattoos getting covered up. totally worthless tv, but can't turn it off.
Gotham is horrible. It keeps getting crazy good reviews so I forced my way through it but man its just not that good.
Really liked the first two season of Arrow, but season 3 kinda sucked. Looks like I'm not the only one that thought that from the ratings it received. I'm hoping season 4 improves or I am giving it the boot.
I still like Big Bang Theory, but the show is starting to get old. Hasn't tread into bad territory quite yet though.

I liked the first season or two, it is a little on the stupid side now though. It's still a little bit entertaining but the story seems to have sidetracked from what it was originally going for. That upscale restaurant they started working in this past season, the boss there was unbearable.
