Post the whole story. Michigan's medical staff walked him off a field with a spinal injury as opposed to requesting a stretcher. Everything was blown out of proportion because harbaugh was trying to negative recruit Purdue to get the QB commit, Plummer, to decommit. Shockingly, every other major injury that's happen at Purdue has resulted in the player being taken off in an ambulance. The real question is, if his injury was such a major injury, why did the Michigan medical staff down play it?

Among Bobby Speight’s claims were that Purdue did not have X-ray capabilities at Ross-Ade Stadium, that there was no police escort for the van taking his son to the student health center, and that Speight, in uniform and pain, was stopped and asked for his insurance before being treated.

A little late eh? That was over a year ago.

This is a stupid thread. And totally unnecessary.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Exactly...by this time next week we will have a feeling what Jeff Brohm is going to do..I guess I’m one of the few that will not freak out if Brohm stays at Purdue-(even though he is the #1 choice). Way too many good candidates out there for both Louisville and Purdue.

OMG, this didn't meet the high standards necessary for your approval to post on this site. I am so sorry. Can I have your contact information so that you can tell me when something I plan to post is necessary or not?

It's a news story about Purdue football.

Brohm must’ve read this and thought “man, Purdue must have terrible facilities”... because he doesn’t have any way to see otherwise, amirite?

Yeah, I absolutely expected JB to be reading this site today with his morning coffee. Holding my breath waiting for his response.

Its a done deal.
He will be Head Coach at UofL.
Not sure it's a done deal yet. Otherwise, why would they tell incoming recruits they are staying? And no, not all the recruits are following. And why would Brohm talk about 2020 recruits on btn tailgate?

It would be pointless just to continue be badgered at press conferences with questions about the Louisville job, like he has been, if he told recruits he was leaving. You folks haven’t been through this process like we have. Howard Schnellenberger, John L Smith, Bobby Petrino, and Charlie Strong all said the same type thing Jeff is saying.

If you took what they said during their last days here as gospel, they would have all made you believe they would retire here. As your program becomes more successful, this will happen more often.

I would suggest you visit the Xavier message board. Those folks have PhD’s in coach speak.

Because as a now, he is Purdue's coach and he's paid to do his job.

He'll tell the recruits he changed his mind.
Recruits do it all the time.

But that's where you are wrong. Purdue has been through this before. Schools have tried to take Matt Painter from Purdue. Schools tried to take Jeff Brohm last year. Don't act like Purdue is in unchartered territory.
I'm not saying Brohm won't come. I think there is a chance he does come. I also think there is a world where Brohm is coaching at Purdue next year. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I like Purdues odds of retaining him with what they are willing to pay. If he goes though, I would like to see a full court press put on Dino Babers to make him the next coach at Purdue .

It’s not going to be all about the money with Jeff. If you know him like longtime Louisville people, his family is more important. He drives a 14 year old Honda for Christ’s sake! Donna and Oscar want all of their boys and grandkids home. End of story!

Question. What if they throw money at his brothers and his staff? Does he care about that cash?
