He's been chastised, brow beaten, verbally abused, and ridiculed, yet here we are again.
Imagine if he actually had a good point and we all missed it...

Have you considered learning how to use the internet?
I know how to use the internet very well. I saw videos. I ask if anyone had actually saw one. Have you ever considered learning some manners. You are one of the people on here that are very rude and just want to cause trouble

If the glass floor is twice as elastic as a wood floor, does that mean that the ball bounces higher and players jump higher? How would that affect players moving from this floor to another teams floor?
It's just for BBM. The original floor will be back.

I wonder Is it temporary because of the cost or the NCAA won’t allow it?

Would be so cool to be permanent.
Probably because the NCAA won't allow it...yet...Until the NBA puts this in all of their arenas, which is likely coming at some point I would assume.

The first thing RP said when he got here was the Kentucky at either end of the court was to small. He said make it in BIG letters.. and they did. The Kentucky at either end of the court is to small again.

The Sphere in Las Vegas is a sight to behold. You should check it out if you’re in that area, it’s amazing.
We went to Vegas last December and our hotel room window had a great view of the Sphere
Was a lot of fun to watch

Two things….

First, I saw this on FB and thought it was awesome. Definitely ahead of the curve for all of CBB and most pro arenas.

Second, is it not possible to have a thread talking about our new, amazing glass floor without turning it into a Cal bashing session? I swear, some of you are miserable humans. He’s gone. If you hated him that much, be happy and move on. We have so much to celebrate and be grateful for an all some of you can do is talk about him every chance you get.

When the NBA all star thread talked about this floor, there was some discussion. That from a teaching perspective, it could be great. Lines and arrows on the floor during practice to show players where to go, etc. Instead of drawing up inbounds plays, it just appears on the floor while working on them during practice.

I wonder how much it cost to rent this thing for the event and if this has been used since the all star game.
I have not thought about it being used for practice and direction. I was thinking about being able to tell if someone steps on a line or something. Its pretty crazy.

This may be the same floor, or company/technology, that they used for the NBA All-Star game here in Indy.

This is not permanent, and just for fun.
I believe it is the same floor. Pope stated it had only been done one other time during the NBA all-star weekend (Indy). UK will be the first college team to unveil the technology and it's a one time occurrence.

My luck, during a game, I wouldn’t realize that system was on, drawing the final play of the game up for everyone to see. 🤪

1. Is this permanent?
2. If it is permanent, what happens to the new wooden floor we just got?
3. Is it actually durable enough to handle a full season?
4. How nicely does it play with replay cameras?

Interesting, but seems kinda gimmicky. Kinda like the Las Vegas ball. Maybe I just don't get it. I'll have to look up its use.
No..,just for MM…for now.
